Flan is a traditional Spanish dish, also very popular en Argentina.
It is surprisingly easy: it only takes time to cook and needs to be refrigerated for at least 2 hours before serving, so plan ahead!

ReplyDeleteFlan is really delicious but have you tried creme brulee? It's much tastier and absolutely sweeter.

Hi Alexis - we have, check it out: http://www.juliaandjulieta.com/2010/08/creme-brulee_29.html
ReplyDeleteGreat stuff! This beats anything that teaches how to make good flan, because you show it in video so the viewer can't possibly fail if he/she follows instructions carefully.

Your special guest is really good in this one. Is she in any of your other videos? I'd want to learn more dessert cooking from her.
ReplyDeleteThis is why I love your blog. Your videos are always so clear in terms of every step of cooking or baking.
ReplyDeleteCan you feature other flan recipes next time? I'm sure you'll do another great job.
ReplyDeleteI can't wait to try and make one of these.
ReplyDeleteThis dessert is my favorite! It's very easy to make even though preparing it is a bit messy. Long island wedding venues always include this dessert when ever the client wants to serve it on the event.
